hi people, i'm building a built-in gamepad for my c64. the question is, i know the pins for up, down, left, right and fire.. but i'm planning to add one more button for right mouse button..
is there anyone knows how the right mouse button works?
is it something like "+5v to the pot x pin" ?

no, +5v is on pin 7. sorry, right mouse button is pin 1 for proportional mode (which is 1351 mode for P64)
pin----joystick mode-----proportional mode
1-----------up-----------------right button
2---------down------------------n/a
3---------left---------------------n/a
4---------right-------------------n/a
5---------n/a------------------y position
6------left button-------------left button
7---------+5v---------------------+5v
8---------gnd---------------------gnd
9------right button------------x postition
hope this helps, i typed it from the manual (which you could probably find online ).

okay, i'll use the right button in joystick mode anyway, because i'm building a mini joystick interface for the gamepad i'll build on c64.

the right button won't work with P64 in joystick mode, no?

yes it's not working, well, isn't there anyway to activate right button without activating mouse mode?
edit: a primitive solution but, i'll make my other button wired to the touch points of the f5 button, so i'll have another f5 button besides the original one and that'll be my right click button!
