Ingredients:
- Some "Clear Transfer Decal Paper" from ebay or a hobby shop
- Clear spray sealant
- Colour laser or inkjet printer
- C64C keyboard - old style or new
- Sexy jpeg that R64 made with the images on it (you can add your own p64 logos etc to this in photoshop)
Instructions:
1. Print out jpg onto Decal paper (multiple times on the same sheet if you like)
2. Apply 3 layers of clear sealant, leaving sufficient time to dry as per sealant can. This is so the printer ink doesn't break up or dissolve when applying
3. Remove keys from keyboard (don't lose the springs!)
4. Clean and remove extra graphics with knife or sandpaper as required
5. Cut out individual key graphics, the soak and apply to keys with a steady hand, as directed by Decal paper instructions
6. Spray a few layers of sealant onto the working surface of the keys.
7. Re-assemble!
8. Post pictures of your finished machines! (Not links - y'all should know how to operate a computer by now )

Good work! I wonder if this could be implimented with a keyboard overlay of some kind...
Probably quite tricky as c64 keys are pretty deep....

Hey guys
Right, so I've been locked in a small metal box doing these, as I had to expend all the ideas (& keyboards) I had before proceeding. This is the most creative part, I guess... Still have more ideas & keys, but ran out of key circuit boards.
Haven't posted what the original style keyboards look like with the graphics so here goes:
(I used white decal paper and some very exact cutting for the brown and grey keys)
And another style:
Back to the C64c style:
Slightly sexier version:
Black & Blue
Black & Blood
And I don't know what this is. Fluorescent paint nicely covers up a yellowed keyboard. Then you get carried away.
Family photo:
Now to make some music?

How do you spray only the sides of the keys
Easy really,
- use blu-tack to stick 2 keys on top of each other, face to face.
- stick the key pairs on a strip of gaffer tape to make it easier to spray
- spray (multiple light coats are always best)
- remove the tape and blu-tack and use a pocket knife or whatever to clean up the edges
- after that apply the transfers and coat with sealant.

Link to page with MSSIAH key decals here: http://blog.re-64.com/?p=41
I ordered a 20-pack of decal paper for laser : http://www.ebay.com/itm/181584277132
Then I printed the image full page with 0 margin all around.
Then I cut out one of the C128 key graphics to do a test (since I do not own a 128) and took a key I had laying around...
After applying I "baked" the key in the oven (60°C / 130°F) for a couple of minutes to dry.
Disregarding the placement, it couldn't be better! Happy happy joy joy
