high pitched noise
I have an extremely loud highpitched noise that happens only when playing games or using the sequencer/drumline of mssiah. I looked online and someone said it was probably my SID that was busted, so i bought 2 replacements. I'm still having the same problem. Its almost unbearable during silence. What should i do?

All you have to do is open up your commodore, locate the SID chip, and connect pins 14 and 26 with a piece of wire. This should make the noise go away.
