Amiga + Bassline = Bad Decay

So I just got my Mssiah cart today, and have been really enjoying the internal software!  But now that I hooked bassline up to my amiga it seems to be having some troubles.

I am sending standard MIDI notes to the bassline, and my decay seems to get  shortened( or completely disregarded) and or less envelope than my set parameters.  When i stop MIDI signals to the bassline and try and play a pattern it goes right back to normal playing.  I've tried changing the bit rate on the MIDI clock of Bassline, but that has no effect, as well as changing to different MIDI channels.  The MIDI interface with my amiga works great with all my other synths, so I'm ruling that out.

I have not tried interfacing with a modern computer yet or trying another amiga, as It's getting late where I am. (3:00 am)  I will try it in the morning however.

Thanks ahead of time!

Re: Amiga + Bassline = Bad Decay

two more things:

I am sending Note Off codes (using a tracker) after figuring out that it needed those to trigger separate notes.  Still has the same effect.

I am using an Amiga 600 with 3.1 Workbench and a Golden Hawk MIDI interface, running OctaMED V5.
