Weird pitch when switching from ringmod to non-ringmod sound patch

There's one thing that bothers me during my live performances:

When running a patch using ringmod and then switching to a non-ringmod patch sometimes oscillator#2 stays on a weird pitch, it's like transposed a few semitones.

To make the non-ringmod patch tuning right I alwys need to switch from the ringmod patch during a rest in the sequence (hope you get what I mean). However sometimes I'm shure to recall the patch within the rest but the pitch is still all weird, so I need to switch the patches back and forth a few times to end up with the right tuned non-ringmod sound.

I already tried to sync the osccillators of the weird pitched non-ringmod but it didnīt work.

Anyone knows what's going on there?

ron.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's a 'feature' of the c64 itself. It certainly happens in sequencer, too - allbeit randomly.
