EHy thats fun! But a funnier thing happened in another forum, I was replying to someone about the Roland TR-909 and it was my post #909!!!

Sad that in a go the counter goes forward and you can't see the coincidence anymore...

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

damn. it's obvious that you guys spend way to long keyjocking on this forum big_smile

I just look here once in a while because i want to have this midi interface.

I dont see why i shouldn't ask when it will be ready for shipping?

Because if it isn't soon, i will choose for another option to midify my 64.

Why this whole mysterious act?

Yeah, only wire transfers.

Because he doesn't have a pypal and hasn't used paypal much, he mistook the "buysiness account" thing for paypal as how he'd have to do it.

Rather than get a personal ccount and just invoice the money, + like 2$ for service charges.

he thought it was like, the high volume ebay seller account he needed, so he thought it was a waste of time.

Anyhow.. it's just wire transfer for now.. which is pointless for canadians.

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

Hmm, what's the price of 1541-III? I mean if the price is right we can gang up and do a group buy and split the cost of wire transfer...

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

It's READ ONLY. We need something to save from the sequencer SAVE option.

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

That's a bit too much, don't you think?

I think I'm gonna wait for firestarter to make the SDR, MIDI interface and PS/2 mouse-converter...

The most recent 1351 went for $50 US on the 'bay last night! So a mouse+shipping is gonna set you back around 65 CAD! Now If you add 100 CAD for 1351-III and another 35 CAD on top of it for wire transfer the total would be 200 bucks and still no MIDI!

It's soooo not worth it...

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

obviously ebay is not the right place to look for c64 mouses. i bought 3 of them vor 5 euros. never pay more tahn 10 euros for a 1351 (euro = little more than a dollar)

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

My god, please sell me one! I think I'm going insane.

I got my cartridge as soon as they were released... had it on pre-order for ages.

Bought another C64 for the SID chip and built my SID2SID straight away.

Downloaded and printed/bound the sequencer manual the day it was released.

Added jack outputs to my 64.... this was all months ago.

And I still can't find a 1351 mouse! There are none in England! NONE!

Sorry, I'm getting hysterical. I just got a mouse from Ebay today which was listed as a C64 mouse... turned out to be another Amiga mouse so I'm a bit upset.

Re: MIDI INTERFACE - WHEN IT BE FINISHED?

Have you tried the old Atari mouse (the brick shaped one!). I use one and it's fine, though I haven't used a 1351 for comparison. The Atari can be modded for right button pushes as well, which is nice!
