New DualSid boards! Looking good baby.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/malinto/dualsid/index.shtml

I'm ordering 2 of those right now.

PS: For the record I think that you can use any sid in any C64 with small modification on motherboard. More info on this when I finish my Cynthcart mod.
Happy New Year everybody by the way.

Re: New DualSid boards! Looking good baby.

I asked Tomi (the dualsid's creator) about adding audio in to SID2, and he said it needs to be taken directly from the "ext in" pin as he didn't make a separate solder point for it on the board.

How should my audio in 2 look like? If I read it correctly, the c64 mainboard has a capacitor in the signal path, and the lead grounded through a 100kOhm resistor. Should I build something like this for SID2 as well?

Or what do you think about connecting the "ext in" pin of SID1 and SID2? It would mean audio in is mono, but I can select filters. smile And less hassle. IF it is safe from an electronical standpoint. SID gurus, any comments?
