Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

What about loading a sequencer song in less than 14 seconds?
And saving in 17 seconds?
And well, lets say up to 1000 slots?

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

Check your Mssiah. It can load and save everything that uses the SDR Load-Save function.

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

It saves to microSD, anyway if choosing for DIY also a normal size SD/MMC could be used.
And there is no external power required. It's plug (it in the userport) & play.

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

I will release it for sure as DIY soon. But i am not sure if i will run a batch. Depends on the costs of all components+production and the demand in the end of course....
Not to forget that it is very difficult to get userport plugs these days wink

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

Hi Firestarter, thanks for all of your hard work to make this happen!

I visited your link at http://www.firestarter-music.de/sdr/ and saw that you are able to burn the software on to the PIC, I am interested in purchasing a pre burned PIC from you.

However, I tried writing you from the contact email address at the webpage above and I'm getting a "Underlivered Mail Returned to Sender" message, it looks like there is something wrong with your email address?

I will search this thread again to see if you have an updated email, if not please message me here as I would really like to get a PIC and start building this, thanks!

Exactly my problem too, can you sell me a completed device?

Im not worried about the soldering itself, but i need newbie guide like the one 8bitventures had for Sid2sid, with illustrations.

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

Ya something like the sid2sid guide would be insanely good.
The biggest problem i have, anyway, is on retrieving some components like the microSD card holder: i see it gets +3v3 but i can only see online shops selling +5v and more items... and even pinouts are different... this one has 10 pins but i just see shops with 8 pins microSD holders.
Another doubt i have is about the R2 component. Where do we see this pot on the picture? Isnt the one that we see the Rotatory Encoder? (EC12E).

I'm a bit confused....

Re: Announcement: New SDR Load/Save device

The cardholders themself needs 5v but i think the cards themself only needs 3v3 , thats a little bit confusing i know. Maybe someone here on the forum can clearify this? About the R2 , that is a trimpot for the screen, i guess for brightness or something like that.
