Re: MSSIAH announced in a german computer magazine

The german "keyboards" magazine had a short announce as well, though we all got the impression the author didn't exactly know what MSSIAH really is...

Re: MSSIAH announced in a german computer magazine

So here's a rough translation of the "keyboards" mag appearance:

C64 goes MIDI

Extreme nostalgists and vintage freaks of the 8-bit era who still like doing music with their "breadboxes" got an affordable MIDI-interface now,  providing direct communication of the audio circuit (SID) of the 2nd generation "Volkscomputer", respectively its MIDI software, and contemporary hardware. No joke: That kind of calculating capacity made others fly to the moon, producing hits or just having fun with the rough sound of this classic monster.

BTW: the "Volkscomputer" term derives from VIC-20 which has been sold as "VC-20" here in germany, since "VIC" sounds like "fuck" in german (according to the myth); so the name was made up, like VW=Volkswagen and later on VIC1541 was relabelled VC1541 etc...
