I've been working on a Windows XP (have not tried with Vista or the newest one whatever it's called) and OSX editor for programming the bassline sequences via CC. Perfect if you don't have any disk drive or if the 303 sequencer is making you pull your hair out...

PS. There's a build for linux OS's too, but I have not been able to test it so I'd be happy if anyone could help!
Possible future features:
Randomize:
One button to randomize pitches, one for accents, one for slides etc. I need your input now . What do you think about this? Would you use it?
Exchange pattern data via system clipboard:
Copy a pattern to clipboard (encoded as text), post it on a forum or send it to a friend/collaborator who can put the data back into the program just as easily. What say ye? Would you use it?
User-definable color scheme:
Through a simple configuration file, so you can personalize the interface (and send me nicer color schemes than the one I have ). Would you bother?
I don't even know if people bother with uploading sequences or if everybody's doing the sequencing directly from their DAW. Tell me please!

it's been a while since i've dug into it, but couldn't you also set up something in Live to do this as well to some extent? i'll be putting together some control patches on the Nord G2 to send CCs and sequences to MSSIAH.

I got my cart and finished my application yesterday

Use it together with MIDI-OX and MIDI-yoke if you want to use it together with a sequencer or synch source at the same time.
Oh, and about the top cyan bar... it lets you set the sequence length.

I haven't been able to test these, but here you go

got it working! now all i have to do is wait for mssiah to arrive! thanks linde!

linde means MIDI Continuous Controller?

linde, i love you! started messing around with this today

fruityloops works great with the messiah by using the midiout instrument. syncs and inputs back into my mbox without any noticeable latency. works better than i expected. then you can also setup the knobs in the midiout instrument to send cc messages to cutoff etc. also able to automate those knobs (formula controller to act as lfo etc) or record the movements or draw in the movements you want. good front end for mssiah bassline if you know how to use it.
good work on gui regardless!
had some fun running bass station and mssiah in at once with a controller keyboard set to change filters. never realised fruityloops had such handy midi capabilities.
next step is to clean my room.

Thank you all for the nice comments! And could an administrator please move this to the appropriate forum?
I have some ideas for a next version, but I need your input:
